Can't Help Falling in Love is a 1961 romantic pop song recorded by Elvis Presley. The melody is based on a popular French love song titled 'Plaisir d'amour'. During Presley's late 60s and 70s live performances, this song was regularly performed as the show's finale. In 2015, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Presley's birth, a new version was included in the If I Can Dream album that features archived voice recordings of Presley and his singers in combination with new orchestral arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Lyrics

Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you?

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you
